Let’s chow down and take a bite out of all the sweet details about this latest high quality release!

Vital Statistics

There’ve been compromises made here with this Gavv figurine. From the folds in the spandex at the arms and legs, to the crisp lining patterns across the armoured parts of the suit.

ABS and PVC is our favourite word here in the S.H. Figuarts announcement articles and Gavv is measured at a tasty 150mm worth of these materials. Special attention has been made to the translucent parts of the live action costume, with a seethrough plastic used for these areas of the figurine, perfectly capturing the blue, purple, and yellow colour gradients on Gavv’s in show appearance. The material is highly reflective so there’s a succulent shimmer and shine to these pieces.

You’ll also notice the highly show accurate mould of the Henshin Belt Gavv device. Despite it’s miniature sculpting, the belt is incredibly high quality, packed with intricate details; such as the ridges at the top of the belt or the mechanical innerworkings of the belt’s interior. It looks ready to feast on some Gochizo! A tiny Poppin Gummy Gochizo can even be seen inside the belt.

The Gavv Figuarts is also built for posing, coming with five pairs of interchangeable hands – three for the left and two for the right. Grab some gummies or punch some baddies!

A mini pink Gochizo accessory is also included with the release. Though it’s limited to a single colour, the attention to detail is still on point.

Visitors to the Tamashii Nations Store in Tokyo, Japan, could also get a sneak preview of the Kamen Rider Gavv figurine on display, striking his signature pose.

An Affordable Treat

S.H. Figuarts Gavv is slated to release in January of 2025 from Premium Bandai, priced at 4950 JPY, not including shipping fees.

This is definitely a figure on the cheaper side, with it’s predecessor in the Kamen Rider line on sale for 9990 JPY: almost double the price! If you’ve been waiting for a chance to get into collecting Kamen Rider S.H. Figuarts, this would be a great place to start with this figure’s price! What a treat!

Here’s a quick bite run-down of everything the Gavv S.H. Figuarts release includes:

  • x5 pairs of interchangeable hands (3 left, 2 right)
  • Henshin Belt Gavv
  • Miniature Gochizo accessory

Preorders for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gavv are opening in Japan September 10th 2024.
