An announcement from Toei Zukun Lab reveals that the Ohsama Sentai KingOhger island experiences in battle royale game, Fortnite, will be coming to an end this month.
Toei Zukun Lab has announced the closure of the KingOhger Island locations featured in Fortnite at the end of February. This includes all 5 locations released throughout the run of the 47th Sentai series, which have each featured a unique gaming experience. The various locations, created in Fortnite and added from September 2023 to January 2024, will be removed just before the 48th Super Sentai series begins its run.
Toei Zukun Lab will remove five locations added to the Battle Royale game, from the Caucasus Kabuto Castle to Tofu. With the announcement, many fans have also shared their despair that such a fantastic piece of extended content for both KingOhger and Super Sentai will soon be gone for good. Fans have only a few days left to enjoy them.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is one of the first Super Sentai series to be given extended content, as Toei Zukun Lab releases its iconic locations on Fortnite. This started with the interior of Kuwagata Ohger’s Castle as a training minigame within the halls of the throne room, originally released in September 2023. With new locations are revealed and released periodically, featuring the other Kingdoms of the Kings in the 47th Sentai series that offer different gaming experiences. These locations also allow fans of the series to virtually explore these unique environments, including the Kingdoms of N’Kosopa, Gokkan, Ishabana, Tofu, and even the Caucasus Kabuto Castle travelling in space.
A Devastating Announcement for Fans
Fans have already shared their despair regarding the end of the content as it would mean that these environments will be gone forever, despite being a piece of content available worldwide. Once these locations are removed, there will be no way to revisit the five Kingdoms without rewatching the Sentai series’ episodes.
This is an unexpected turn of events, as many fans were blessed to have these iconic locations from KingOhger as a digital environment that can be physically explored. Fortnite was also a fantastic host for the content as it allowed fans around the world to enjoy the locations, whereas the series was designed only be enjoyed by fans in Japan. It would be awful to lose these locations to time as each offered a wonderful experience that fans enjoyed immensely. It will be interesting to see if Toei Zukun Lab create more content for the new Sentai series, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger, but there have yet to be any announcements.
Time is Running Out
This is the best time to jump into these islands before they are removed in just under two weeks. So, if you have yet to play any of these experiences on Fortnite, make sure to jump on before the end of the month. KingOhger will also reach its conclusion this Sunday, so it’s great that fans will still have a few days to say their goodbyes to the 47th Sentai completely. Hopefully, Toei Zukun Lab will keep this trend going with all future Sentai, but fans will have to wait and see if more will be created for Boonboomger.
The Fortnite Island Codes for KingOhger’s various experience will end on February 29th, 2024. This includes the following locations for the Sentai series content.

Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will air its final episode on Sunday March 25th, 2024. Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger will premiere as the 48th Sentai on March 3rd, 2024.
