The Super Sentai rumour mill has been running wild and, per the tokusatsu fandom’s go to information station, Matt Hunt, we have details about the toys and suits for Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger.
As the anticipation for the 2024 Sentai series, Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger, continues to build, enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement over the rumoured toy listings and suit details that have surfaced. While official confirmation is pending, the rumoured information offers fans a glimpse into what to expect from the upcoming Sentai instalment.
Rumoured Toy Listings
The DX BoonBoom Changer, priced at 3000 Yen, is presumably the henshin device for Red, Blue and Pink. Alongside the BoonBoom Changer is the DX BoonBoom Handle, priced at 4500 yen. The word ‘handle’ is the Japanese word for wheel which points to it being a toy wheel similar to the Bouken Driver from Boukenger. Priced at 5200 yen, the DX BoonBoom Change Axe presumably serves as the transformation device and sidearm weapon for Black and Orange.
Priced at 6800 Yen, the DX BoonBoomger Robo is quite similar to Lupinkaiser/Patokaiser. This versatile mecha boasts three distinct forms:
- Base Form, which stores the individual Ranger’s BoonBoom Cars,
- Trailer Form, which users can wheel it around,
- and a Robot Form.
The gattai sequence can be activated with a touch, adding an interactive element to the play experience. The individual BoonBoomger’s BoonBoom Cars play a pivotal role in forming the head and arms of the BoonBoomger Robo. The mecha functions in a similar way to the UnitRoborn Series.
The BoonBoom Car Series offers a range of auxiliary mecha too. The DX BoonBoom Classic is priced at 1400 Yen. Additionally, the BoonBoom Racing is also priced at the similar price of 1400 Yen.
The DX BoonBoom Builder Set is set to include BoonBoom Shovel and BoonBoom dozer. The BoonBoom Police set will include DX PatoCar 1 and PatoCar 2. These are priced at 2800 Yen for each set. However, there is also an option to purchase a singular car series from each set at 1400 Yen.
The DX BoonBoom Night (or Knight?) carries a price tag of 2800 Yen.
The DX BoonBoomger Robo Bakuage 4 set, priced at 15200 Yen, includes the entire first set of the BoonBoom Car Series.
The hero series, consisting of BoonRed, BoonBlue, BoonPink, BoonBlack and BoonOrange, do not have a price attached to them but strongly suggest that the colours for BoonBoomger are the above and mirror the rumours during the last few months.
Suit Details
Leaked suit details have already surfaced, providing a glimpse into the aesthetics of the BoonBoomger. The suits have confirmed a predominantly white base colour, establishing a clean and vibrant tone for the team’s appearance.
One intriguing feature of the suits is the inclusion of tires, prominently displayed on the back. This design choice hints at a dynamic and possibly vehicular aspect to the Sentai theme. Furthermore, the helmets, rumoured to heavily incorporate tires will bring the theme of vehicles to life!
In brief, whilst these details are yet to be officially confirmed, several reputable leakers have shared these details, so please take the above information with a grain of salt.
