KingOhger has revealed the Super Mode weapon, the Ohger Crown Lance and has featured the item in the debut appearance of King Kuwagata Ohger.
The 47th Super Sentai series recently debuted the new form in the latest episode with OhKuwagata Ohger also able to use the new power. The new power of the king also reveals a link to the Extreme King-Ohger formation and the upcoming movie, Ohsama Sentai KingOhger: Adventure Heaven. The upcoming toy has recently been revealed by Bandai, including the features and activations as seen in the debut episode.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger has featured an incredible story, beloved by fans, as the five kings fight against the Bugnarak. The series adds a unique twist as the King of Shuggodam is revealed to be an evil king and a sixth king is introduced revealed to be a son of an erased king and a Bugnarak as a mother. Gira took the power of Kuwagata Ohger during the first episode and was revealed to be the missing brother to the Shuggodam King but King Racules Hastie still acts against everyone, for his better interests. The new Super Mode was previously leaked early revealing the gold armour for the red hero, along with the castle as part of the last two Shugod featured in the third quarter releases.
KingOhger DX Ohger Crown Lance
The DX Ohger Crown Lance features the Ohger Crown and lance weapon that is used by OhKuwagata Ohger and Kuwagata Ohger to access their new golden forms. King Kuwagata Ohger and King OhKuwagata Ohger recently featured in episode 18 of the series, with the crown used to access the Super Mode used by both rangers. The new weapon features a button on the crown to activate the new mode, which can be inserted on the lance to form the guard of the weapon. The crown also features six gems around the design representing the unified team, with the red gem being the activation button for the form.
The deluxe toy will be 57.5cm long and will include sounds and light effects that feature in the crown. While inserted into the lance, the crown can be turned to activate other sounds that relate to the groups of Shugods, including the ten that form King-Ohger, the Shugod weapons, the four treasures of Chikyu, and the various formations including activating the Extreme King-Ohger. Figures for King Kuwagata Ohger will also be released as part of the Action Hero and Vinyl lines.
This is an amazing weapon that perfectly represents all six kings in one roleplay weapon and has a fantastic range of sounds relating to all Shugods. It’s a shame that there is no interactivity between the DX Ohger Crown Lance and Ohger Calibur/other weapons in the series but there are a lot of features included for presentation. The armour also perfectly extends the design but it’s a shame it’s focused only on the stag beetle that both KuwagataOhgers share as a motif. The weapon is also linked to the Caucasus Kabuto Castle as seen in leaked images so it will be interesting to find out how it activates other features, including the 20-Shugod combination.
The Ohsama Sentai KingOhger DX Ohger Crown Lance is scheduled to release on July 15th in Japan and can be preordered from The Toku Source. The King Kuwagata Ohger figure in the vinyl line and Action Hero line will also be released, featuring the gold armour for the Red Hero. You can preorder the Action Hero Figure here.
