In celebration of 555 Day – the 5th day, of the 5th month in the 5th year of the Reiwa Era – Premium Bandai announced five new items that will be joining the Complete Selection Modification line!
The Complete Selection Modification (CSM) line for Kamen Rider 555 will now include five new products, according to Bandai Japan’s announcement made today, May 5th. The announcement was made to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Kamen Rider 555, as well as what has been delcared 555 Day, commemorating the 5th day, month and year of the Reiwa Era.
These new CSM items are: Faiz Edge, Faiz Blaster, Orga Driver, Smart Buckle, and Psyga Driver. The former four are expected to go up for preorder at a later date, while the the CSM Psyga Driver is the first product to have a preorder page on the Premium Bandai site. The item will cost 26,400 yen. Bandai will close preorders on June 30, 2023 for a December 2023 release.
The Energy Handle Blade SB-555H Faiz Edge (エナジーハンドルブレード ＳＢ－５５５Ｈ ファイズエッジ), or Faiz Edge for short is a lightsaber-like weapon. It is stored in Faiz’s motorcycle, Auto Vajin, when not in use, disguised as the as the left handlebar.
The SB-555T Faiz Blaster (ＳＢ－５５５Ｔ ファイズブラスター) is a motorcycle trunk box that can be transformed into a blaster weapon. The Faiz Blaster has two modes: Photon Buster Mode (フォトンバスターモード), which resembles a pump action shotgun, and Photon Breaker Mode (フォトンブレイカーモード) which is a sword mode designed to be an extension of Faiz’s arm.
The Psyga Driver and the Orga Driver are the henshin devices of Kamen Rider Psyga and Kamen Rider Orga’s, respectively. They saw their debut in the film, Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Lost, but have seen multiple uses at various points in the succeeding 20 year period.
Preorders for the CSM Psyga Driver will open on The Toku Source soon, with the others to follow once more announcements have been made.
