This past weekend, Toei revealed even more information surrounding this year’s upcoming Super Sentai series: Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger including BoonBlack, BoonOrange and Boonboomger Robo!
The unveiling of a new Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger poster signals the introduction of two fresh faces, BoonBlack and BoonOrange, along with this year’s mecha, the BoonBoomger Robo. Joining the already familiar trio of Red, Blue, and Pink, each with their distinct characteristics and playstyles, fans eagerly await the official debut of the dynamic duo.
Shared by the official BoonBoomger Twitter account, the poster depicts all five members leaping into action against a vibrant background, accompanied by their mecha and the newly revealed Boonboomger Robo.
Upon closer inspection, the most notable distinction between the suits worn by Red, Blue and Pink, compared to BoonBlack and BoonOrange, is the additional line running down the speedometer, along with motif based shoulder pads (police officer and builder, respectively). This departure from the design of the core three raises questions about the unique abilities and functions that Black and Orange might bring to the BoonBoomGer team.
The much anticipated BoonBoomger Robo is not just a machine but is hailed as the team’s “partner,” implying a sentient nature that adds an intriguing layer to the dynamic. As the heart and soul of the BoonBoomger Robo, the mecha takes on a crucial role, intertwining with the unique characteristics of each team member.
BoonRed, with the BoonBoomTrailer, assumes a central position as the core of the BoonBoomger Robo. This vital component sets the stage for the collaborative power that the entire team harnesses. The diverse abilities of BoonBlack’s patrol cars, BoonBoomPatoCar1 (black) and BoonBoomPatoCar2 (purple) introduce a fascinating twist. When combined with the BoonTrailer, these components transform into the BoonBoomger Robo Police.
