Anticipation is mounting for the arrival of the latest Super Sentai series, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. This 49th instalment introduces a dynamic team of heroes, each with unique abilities and corresponding weaponry, complemented by an exciting lineup of toys that fans are eager to explore.
Transformation Device and Weapons
Central to the Gozyugers’ combat and transformation capabilities is the TegaSword, a multifunctional weapon serving as both their primary weapon and henshin device. This versatile tool also transforms into their individual mecha, known as TegaSword Robos, with multiple configurations based on which Gozyuger controls it.
To transform; the user will place their respective Sentai Ring into the middle finger and clap their hands to trigger the transformation.
Each ranger wields a personal weapon that complements their abilities:
- Gozyu Leon: Wields the LeonBuster Go, a powerful blaster that comes with the Tegasword Blue Sentai Ring.
- Gozyu Tyranno: Handles the TyrannoHammer Go, a formidable hammer accompanied by the Tegasword Yellow Sentai Ring.
- Gozyu Eagle: Utilises the EagleShooter Go, a precise shooter that includes the Tegasword Green Sentai Ring.
- Gozyu Unicorn: Employs the UnicornDrill Go, a drilling weapon paired with the Tegasword Black Sentai Ring.
Sentai Rings
A unique feature of this series is the introduction of Sentai Rings, which hold the powers of past Red Sentai heroes. These rings are categorised into three types:
- Personal Rings: Specific to each Gozyuger, enabling their transformations and personal weapons.
- Ability Rings: Granting additional powers or enhancements during combat.
- Legend Sentai Rings: Containing the powers of previous Super Sentai teams, allowing Gozyugers to harness legacy abilities.
