Get ready to go full throttle and grab all your exclusive BoonBoomger merch as this limited time event will be held across eight cities in Japan!
Super Sentai celebrations are abound this year and, with Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger nearing the finish line, Toei is celebrating the 48th Sentai series with another plethora of popup stores in Japan.
Last year’s popup shops, all themed around Ohsama Sentai KingOhger, were held across only three cities from January to February but, after their nationwide success, it seems this year will get double the amount of retail venues and then some!
Locations for 2025’s BoonBoomger popup stores include Osaka, Miyagi, Tokyo, Aichi and Kagoshima, with three mini shops hosted in Niigata, Hiroshima and Fukuoka; the website describing these venues as having a “carefully selected lineup in mini sizes”.
Celebratory posters are also a guarantee for Super Sentai popup shops, with the BoonBoomger stores receiving two exclusive visuals!
Visitors can expect to find a myriad of current BoonBoomger merchandise and toys, from Changers to Cars, to brand new exclusive products made especially for this high geared event. Shoppers can pick up BoonBoomger themed squishy pillows for ¥3630 JPY (if you’d like to hug Taiya’s face), posters of the new visuals at ¥550 each, and for ¥770 you can grab exclusive keychains of the team’s drivers licenses. The website promises a collection of 300 products, with nearly 150 new ones!
The first popup shop will open its doors in Osaka on January 31st, with the very last store in Kagoshima closing on March 16th. For all the locations, dates and times of the BoonBoomger popup shops, please read the detailed list below:
