This includes the game available on all modern platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and the PC. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind brings the five heroes with attitude to the gaming world once more, featuring a variety of iconic locations. Players will also be able to command the Zord and Megazords, making the game one of the greatest packages from the Power Rangers universe.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind is the latest Power Rangers game part of Hasbro Retro Arcade. The game was developed by Digital Eclipse and features the iconic story of the series, affected by the 30th anniversary special. This alternate timeline allows fans to fight from Day 1 of teenagers becoming Power Rangers, while also merging Robo Rita from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. The beat ’em up, action/adventure game also features co-op, allowing players to fight together to tackle an onslaught of foes and monsters.
The game also features an array of diverse challenges and combat with story and scenes featured from various episodes. This includes the dump site before facing the menacing Minotaur and even fighting Pineapple the Clown in the fairground. Fans will also be able to fight against the Green Ranger, who will only be unlocked once players complete the game during their first run. However, the game will include Zord and Megazord battles as part of the package, with local play enabling all six Rangers to fight together on platforms, apart from PlayStation consoles.

It’s incredible that players can now dive into this ‘What If’ story that combines the nostalgia of the 90s with the hype of the 30th anniversary. Crossplay is not supported yet but it’s great that players can bring the entire team together locally, when the Green Ranger is unlocked. It will be a thrilling experience to play through the entire story with friends and family, especially when so many levels will be exciting to explore for the first time.
