Power Rangers Prime #2 grants fans the first preview of the next instalment featured after the astonishing premiere. The new BOOM! Studios series starts a new tale that warps the timeline, featuring a new world for old and new characters.
Power Rangers Prime has blown the minds of fans as Eltarians completely change the known history. From Samurai Rangers becoming outlawed to VR Troopers integration, the next instalment promises to continue the hype generated by the first release. The first preview of the upcoming second issue also gives fans a look at the next tense event, featuring a white Rita Repulsa’s arrival on Earth.
Power Rangers Prime is a new series from Boom! Studios, written by Darkest Hour’s Melissa Flores. The series also features art by Michael YG and Fabi Marques, with lettering by Ed Dukeshire. The series has already debuted Lauren Shiba as an outlaw in a Elterian controlled Earth, with the entire continuity changed. New characters have also been introduced, with surprising faces also making appearances along with VR Troopers finally merging into the frame.

Groundbreaking POWER RANGERS writer, and scribe behind Darkest Hour Melissa Flores, along with acclaimed artist Michael YG (Iron Fist), colourist Fabi Marques, and letterer Ed Dukeshire ushers in a new era into the Rangers Mythos with the new ongoing series POWER RANGERS PRIME! Continuing December 2024.
The new morphinominal era continues in the second action packed issue of Power Rangers Prime! Conflicts emerge around a fugitive Ranger, drawing in another iconic team and setting up a world-colliding crossover that fans have been theorizing about for years! Meanwhile, a fan favourite villain has uncovered the remnants of a Samuraizer… and the latent Morphin energy could unleash a power unlike anything this universe has ever seen…
POWER RANGERS PRIME #2 features a main cover by the incomparable Dan Mora, with variants by Chuma Hill (W0rldtr33), Bon Bernardo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Doaly (Deadpool/Wolverine), Keyla Valerio (White Boat), and R1C0 (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II).
There is so much to look forward to in this new Power Rangers world and a lot of events have already been teased. This first interaction with the Rita from this alternate timeline will be monumental as it appears she may be connected to the Morphin Grid. It’s unclear how Lauren’s story will evolve but it will be exciting to see these new characters shape the route of the tale. Many fans will be excited to see more from VR Troopers too, making a colossus package in each instalment that fans shouldn’t miss.
