The first issue has already sold out, leading to a new set of printing that rewards fans with a new variant. Lauren Shiba is revealed to be a outlaw as a Eltarian Earth causes Rangers to hide in the shadows. As a debut fan won’t want to miss, the second printing allows more Ranger fans and collectors to obtain a new captivating art created by Rebeca Puebla.
Power Rangers Prime is the new Power Rangers story written by Melissa Flores, with art by Michael YG and Fabi Marques. The story follows an alternative storyline that completely changes the known universe fans are familiar with. This includes warping the history of the Samurai Rangers as Eltarians make Earth their new colony. One of the biggest reveals includes the VR Troopers, which now feature in the world and play a vital role in the new original story.

It’s wonderful to see Lauren Shiba take the spotlight in this amazing new series, especially since it has a twist on the Super Samurai mode. Flores has managed to pack it full of delights including alternate versions of characters, fresh faces and even Brad from VR Troopers. It will be exciting to see how the Red Samurai Ranger deals with the opponents stacked against her and what heroes could emerge from the dystopian Earth. As there are many shifts from the known universe, it will be interesting to see if a new Mighty Morphin team will be forged in this twelve issue series.
