Episodes 34 and 35 of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger feature the Champion Carrier debut as Bundorio’s unexpected secret spills. The 48th Sentai adds great tension as a new massive Boonboom car and Robo debuts alongside the Hashiryan leader’s introduction.
Boonboomger has included the Champion Carrier in the latest episodes as the team receives a massive addition to their lineup. The Sanseaters go full pelt against the team as they test their new ride, with shadows of threats and malice acting against the heroes. The latest episode also features the new Boonboomger Robo Champion, with Bundorio’s friendship with Byun D tested by a shocking connection to the Hashiryan boss.
Boonboomger finally unites the team as Genba rejoins as the Champion mode debuts in the Sentai series. The powerup also grants a new Boonboom Car, which features all five members that use the new mode. Many characters have featured over time, but ISA and Taiga’s mentor have been teased as additional antagonists. Although they have yet to be revealed, a few instances have teased them to be acting in favour of the Hashiryan, despite showing support for the 48th Sentai team.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger features the amazing Champion Carrier after the Champion form is granted to the core team. The final Boonboom Car expected in the series is granted a fantastic purpose for the future, with amazing battles and instances featured in both episodes. This includes a crazy fight on the road and the epic debut of the Boonboomger Robo Champion mode. However, an unexpected reveal throws a spanner into the works as Bundorio’s link to Hashiryan Boss is leaked.
Boonboomger #34 Features Mad Max Inspired Debut for Carrier as Bundorio’s Dark Backstory Comes to Light

The 34th instalment of the series unleashed an emotional rollercoaster in a single episode, as two conflicting reveals elevated emotions. This includes Genba’s welcome back party, featuring the debut of the Champion Carrier, leading to an epic fight on the road. As the Sanseaters seek revenge for Mad Rex, a ride is interrupted spectacularly. However, the episode also features a shocking reveal as the Hashiryan boss finally appears.
Heartwarming Start vs. Sad Goodbye

Genba is given a great welcome party by the team that starts the episode with a delightful tone as it leads to a massive debut. It was great to see this moment between the members after being split, plus it also shows the needed development for a satisfying resolution. This moment was also a great contrast compared to the Sanseaters as they still show determination.
Disrace popping up keeps the delightful captain scare gimmick going, but it was potent to see him reveal Mad Rex’s second death. Placing blame on Boonboomger was an expected move from the scheming captain, but it also acted as a great fire that fuels the Sanseaters for their next move. It was also curious to see Yeiyei act level headed despite the news, showing how wise the monster is about Disrace’s nature.
Boonboom Champion Carrier Given Perfect Debut

The final Boonboom Car finally features in a way that weaves many uses into one episode. This includes its reveal as a treat for Genba’s return but also how it helps the team in the upcoming Big Bang Grand Prix. Discovering its use for transport and the duration of the BBGP gave fans a lot of great complexity, while also allowing the new car to feature as a prime addition to the lineup. The use of the ToQ Ressha coupling was also a surprise, making the 48th Sentai series one of the most Sentai influenced teams.
The first use of the mecha showcased so many great features that fans wouldn’t see from the toy, providing greater perks for fans to witness. It was interesting to see the adaptability for loading as the 12 month race was revealed to contain intense environments that required the right car to race. The call for use from Taiga’s mentor as a requested appearance for kids also allowed for a satisfying first ride, which perfectly came into play as more progression occurred.
Epic Off-Road Combat Between Two Lines

The first drive was wonderfully interrupted by the Hashiryan, as they also unleashed the Electric Guitar Grumer on the Boonboomger Killer Trailer. It was brilliant to see the Killer line all used against the Champion Carrier, adding a brilliant battle on the road. Seeing the Killer Off-Road and Wagon also provided dynamic collisions that made the debut even more memorable. The on top battle with the Nejiretta also added to the spectacle, breaking the mould by featuring brilliant combat effects in a visually intense fight.
Bundorio’s Dark Part Leaked with Boss Reveal

The surrounding features of the episode also grasped the audience with more content than they could wield. This includes Disrace’s search finally providing fruit as he discovers why the Robo looks familiar. This provides a shocking backstory reveal as Disrace reveals that Bundorio used to work for his boss. This dark twist felt like a dramatic instance that magnified the episode, provoking tense responses from both Taiga and Byun D.
It was also surprising to see Byun D run out with Sakito because of the news, while the rest of the team showed their resolve. It was great to see the Robo fight follow on to this reveal, with a Safari custom fight and the carrier used for a cannon powered finisher. Despite the shock, fans are also treated to the premiere of Hasiryan boss, Waruido Spindo.

The boss shows his surprise and even destroys the monster that lied about Bundorio’s demise. It was great to see such a wicked act during Spindo’s first appearance, especially concerning Bundorio’s escape. The episode also added to the intense package by teasing Raita Naito as the possible culprit for leaking the location of the team. It will be fascinating to see how each episode escalates as more cogs start to turn.
Boonboomger #35 Conquers 3rd Lap With Champion Formation

Episode 35 of the 48th Sentai series marks the end of the 3rd Lap as the team counters Disrace’s final act. The episode features Bundorio explaining his past, linked to his time as a member of the Hashiryan. A forced play causes the team to act as Disrace and the Sanseaters are driven out of their scheme, with a perfect finale to end the latest captain. Along with a significant backstory, the episode also debuts the Boonboomger Champion Robo for an off-road fight in space.
Bundorio’s Dark Past Driven Over

Fans finally discover the true reason for Bundorio being kicked out of the BBGP as he reveals how he was connected to the Hashiryan boss. The connection contains a brilliant ruse and surprising reveal as Bundorio is tricked into using an illegal mod that causes him to be banned. However, it was revealed to be a smart yet devious plan by Waruido Spindo as he helped Bundorio in exchange for his engineering skills. The best reveal of the event was the discovery of Bundorio as the inventor of the Ignition keys, showcasing his significance to the entire series.
It was a shorter disruption than expected but it was great to see the whole team rally with Bundorio. Saiba was also impervious to her ‘Boomy’ and continued to try and hide her true feelings. It was brilliant to see Sakito act on behalf of Byun D by connecting to him so he didn’t miss the explanation. Although a duo, it’s clear that the connection between Sakito and Byun D could be seen as brotherly, which provides a highlight of the characters in the episode.
Hashiryan Act, Boonboomger Break Out

Fans are slowly seeing more from Spindo as he continues to act away from Earth. It was fascinating to discover he was imprisoned on a planet but retained his Godfather status in the Hashiryan. Disrace also finally acts out a plan that turns out of hand as he captures Byun D just as he wishes to reconnect with Bundorio. Although short, it was brilliant to see his plan instantly fall apart as his attempt to get Bundorio is foiled by the quick appearance of the team.
There was also some great light humour from the Sanseaters as they highlighted irony tropes. This includes the team protected by Bundorio, which Yeiyei comments on when they should have been hit. It was great to see the trio used to frame events with their tone of humour, allowing the episode to continuously feature a full spectrum of moments for the audience to enjoy. The sudden defeat of the Sanseaters also added satisfaction to Byun D’s escape when Sakito acted as the final defiance to Disrace’s schemes.
Disrace’s Final Fight Hits All Marks

The erupting fight also took advantage of the emotional momentum, with incredible Champion mode action. It was great to see fantastic visuals still featuring the new powerup, with incredible new attacks. This also included Mira using the Boonboom Rod as a mace again, which still functioned for attacks with the Racing customise attack. The best moment featured BunOrange finally getting his strike against Disrace.
Seeing him finally hit the captain carried the emotional momentum of past episodes, delivering a satisfying impact. It was also great to see the evasion moments from Disrace’s attacks, highlighting his dwindled power in the final gambit. The final attack from BunOrange with the team also highlighted his strength now he is back with the team. It was great to see this brilliant finish to Genba’s hangup that featured for a long duration.
Boonboomger Champion Robo Debuts With Lunar Combat

Disrace’s choice to grow giant and escape was ironic considering his choice of words against Bundorio. However, it was a great way for fans to finally see the team head into space with the Hydrogen car. The formation of the Boonboomger Champion Robo was a great way to finally conclude with Disrace and the 3rd Lap. The fight featured many great moments including the surprise attack from giant Nejiretta and the initial one on one against the captain.
It was great to see how adaptive the new formation was as it called different Boonboom cars. However, it was brilliant to see a Nejiretta kick accidentally activate the switch to overcome the onslaught. The finisher was also an epic way to end Disrace, with the amazing inclusion of the Boonboom cars with the blast from the mounted Hydrogen car in attack mode. The moon provided a visually stunning battleground for the final fight so it will be interesting to see how the final lap could follow.
