Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger has entered its “3rd Lap” with a focus on Gemba, new characters and exciting powerups that have fans buzzing with anticipation. The latest arc promises thrilling developments and surprising twists, including the return of past characters and special appearances from previous Sentai warriors.
The second arc of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger has just wrapped up, marking the end of its “2nd Lap.” As of last week, the series has officially transitioned into its third arc, also known as the “3rd Lap.” To celebrate this exciting new phase, a striking new poster was unveiled. It is filled with intriguing clues about what fans might expect in this next chapter.
As the series enters this third arc, the poster hints at some thrilling developments and potential twists, which have already sparked intense fan speculation. One of the most striking details is the prominent placement of BunOrange in the team group shot. While all the Boonboomger members are shown, BunOrange stands out more than the others. This focus on him has led to much discussion about what might be in store for his character. What makes it even more fascinating is the mysterious aura surrounding him in the background, suggesting a possible storyline centred around him. (According to leaked episode descriptions it is revealed that Gemba is in fact an alien).
Another aspect in the poster is the first look of Champion BoonBoomger! BunRed is wearing a new jacket over his base form. This power up will be available to the core five BoonBoomgers! There’s also a glimpse of a new Boonboom Car, designed in a carrier style, seen on the left side of the poster. In addition, we catch a first look at a new robo for Boonboomger. In the background, the silhouettes of the five main Boonboomger tyres are visible, with a towering mecha looming behind them.
Mad Rex will also be returning to the show after being defeated. Alongside him, a new character is introduced: a general named Disrace, who will be voiced by Showtaro Morikubo. This new addition to the villains brings an intriguing dynamic to Gemba’s character, especially since he went into a complete rage when Disrace was first introduced. Disrace is responsible for the destruction of Gemba’s home planet.
Adding to the excitement, the third arc also features a special appearance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ressha Sentai ToQGer! ToQ #1 will return! However it remains unclear if Jun Shison, who plays Right w,ill reprise his role. This could be either in person similar to Go-On Red or through voice acting. Recently, there has been a trend of bringing back past Sentai warriors in new seasons outside the usual annual VS films.
The “3rd Lap” of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger officially began with the 26th episode, which aired on 25th August. This episode marks a fresh beginning for the series, brimming with new adventures, challenges, and possibly some unexpected revelations. As the series moves into this exciting new phase, fans can anticipate more from Boonboomger as this arc happens!
