Hello Toku Sourcers and Minipla fans! We’re back with more Boonboomger Minipla to whet your appetite! Unfortunately, it is not an early glimpse of a Boonboomger Minipla Set 4, but rather the rerelease of both Boonboomger Minipla Set 1 and 2! Pump the brakes though, as this version offers a clear difference to the original… Literally. It’s clear!
That’s right, for those who missed the previous two Boonboomger Minipla sets, this is your chance to obtain them as one complete set! For those who already own said sets but wish it had the shiny aesthetic of 2020’s Mashin Sentai Kiramager; your weirdly specific wish has come true!

Boonboom Trailer
Can’t have Boonboomger Robo without Boonboom Trailer! The ‘clear’ white creates a heavenly soft tone that, honestly, in my opinion, looks much nicer than the traditional plain white of the original. I’m sure it’ll bedazzle in the light!
Of course the ‘Gate Mode’ is still here to allow your Boonboomger vehicles to transform!
Boonboom Off Road
The ‘clear’ colouring is a little harder to see on Boonboom Off Road due to it’s dark blue tone but it’s there. Try squinting your eyes a little!
Boonboom Wagon
Unlike the previously mentioned, Boonboom Wagon’s clear colouring is much more noticeable and very aesthetically pleasing!
Boonboom Patrol Car 01
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m genuinely struggling to see any clear elements on Boonboom Patrol Car 01. Perhaps it’s an oversight and the team have used a picture from the original set or perhaps the picture doesn’t do any justice and the clear elements will be more noticeable in hand?
Boonboom Patrol Car 02
Like Boonboom Wagon, the purple clear colouring is very noticeable and creates a similarly pleasing aesthetic.
Boonboom Shovel
We got Boonboom Shovel, next, looking too clean for a vehicle that digs through dirt!
Boonboom Dozer
Same could be said for Boonboom Dozer! The aesthetic is colourful and so shiny, I wouldn’t blame you for mistaking them as gummies!
BoonBoom Classic
Take the vintage design motif, slap some modern clear colouring and get the best of both worlds with Boonboom Classic!
Boonboom Racing
Boonboom Racing is looking delightfully bright and colourful! The clear colouring really changes the tones of these vehicles.
Like the original, we can recreate our good pal Bundorio Bunderas! A great companion figure to display alongside the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Boon Red figure, releasing in October!

As you can see by the images, the trademark Minipla articulation is still present, giving the set a leg up over it’s DX variant, if being a sizeable set wasn’t enough for you.

There was a bonus set of alternative ‘shiny’ stickers included in the original Boonboomger Minipla Set 01 that doesn’t seem to be included with this one. This is a shame as it would have given an additional layer of shiny aesthetic as the discretion of the buyer. Perhaps it has and the Bandai Candy team didn’t feel to mention it.

The Boonboomger Hero Plates! The little 2D display standees included with the original set were a new addition to Sentai Minipla and I personally loved their addition as they look so nice beside the completed models!
Still bummed Boonboomger Minipla Set 03 isn’t giving us a Boon Violet hero plate but oh well. I’ll still hold out hope for their appearance in a future Minipla set!
