As the 4th quarter of the toy calendar approaches, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is set to thrill fans with an array of new and exciting releases. Here’s a sneak peek into what’s coming!
The newest releases announced for the currently airing Super Sentai series, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger includes the return of team powerups, last seen in Kiramager, ironically the last vehicle themed season. With brand new mecha and more also on the cards, let’s take a look at everything we know about the upcoming 4th quarter of explosive toys!
A New Trailer Mecha and Transformation
A new trailer mecha, similar to the BoonBoom Trailer is set to join the highway. While it is not the Linear mecha, there’s speculation that we might see it in a possible fifth quarter of toys, to line up with the eventual ToQger crossover which the fandom are eagerly anticipating for!
The car at the front of the new trailer can separate and transform into the Champion Changer, which integrates with the BoonBoom Changer or BoonBoom Booster. By using the lever, a new feature transforms the core five Boonboomgers into their new, upgraded forms—Champion Boonboomger! The new design reportedly has the Boonboomgers in sleek, leather jacket like outfits, giving them a stylish and formidable new look.
New Combinations and Power-Ups
Boonboomger Robo Champion
In addition to the new transformations, the Champion Carrier can combine with the Boonboomger Robo to form the ultimate, Boonboomger Robo Champion. This powerful new combination promises to enhance their capabilities and bring new excitement to battles. The DX toy is said to be a whopping 46cm tall which puts Robo Champion around the same size as recent final mecha.
Sentai Hero Series Champion BunRed
The latest in the Sentai Hero Series, Champion BunRed, marks the second major powerup for Boonboomger. This upgrade affects the entire team, although BunRed is the only member receiving a dedicated hero series figure this quarter. This new figure is expected to be a must have for collectors and fans alike.
Special Edition Repaints
BoonBoomger will also introduce several special edition toy repaints which include:
- DX BoonBoom Classic Cool Blue Version: A stylish repaint of the beloved BoonBoom Classic, now in a cool blue hue.
- DX BoonBoom Racing Cool Blue Version: Another fan favorite, BoonBoom Racing, gets a sleek cool blue makeover.
- DX BoonBoom Safari Wild White Version: BoonBoom Safari is reimagined in a wild white variant, adding a fresh look to the lineup.

This innovative design allows for replication of the pre-gattai form and offers the ability to swap pieces between robos.
