SODO Sundays! Catching you with new reveals during the Daybreak! Your wallets are doomed to more SODO Geats!
Welcome back, toku fans! It’s certainly been a long two weeks, hasn’t it? We’ve got some excellent shots to show you of this months upcoming SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #5 along with a ‘foxy’ SODO Kamen Rider Geats reveal! So, let’s write down our Desire Grand Prix wishes, henshin and fight our way through a look at some awesome Rider figures.
SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #5
We’ve previously had a look at SODO Gotchard #5, but that was the fancy schmancy premium version! For those still rocking the traditional ways and prefer your SODO sets to be all at once, rather than split in two, here’s a look at what’s coming…
The ever popular Kamen Rider Majed arrives in glorious fashion, and during National Woman’s Month too! Whether it’s standard or premium SODO, her design stands out with a nice mix of white, blue and orange. Her horn can pierce the sky!
Antagonist turned protagonist, Kamen Rider Valvarad joins the set! Whether you’re going the premium or standard SODO route, you cannot escape the abundance of stickers on this one. You’re gonna need the patience of a saint… Maybe some fine application tools, also.
We’re also getting a range of Gotchard forms included as well; in order of left to right (then bottom): Flayrose, Dokkirishovel, Burning Gorilla and Venom Mariner! Now, these did not get the SODO premium treatment, if you remember, instead only the heads did, coming included with the premium Valvarad and Majed set. So, if you were wanting to complete them, you still would have had to track down this set!

Some new Geats entry forms!!! We get the necessary parts to recreate some late season entry Riders. Their appearance in the SODO line is better late than never but from left to right (then bottom): Hakubi, Turbon, Blurry, Butchy and Groovy! Now, the set is only two boxes which means all of these heads will come in the set but you can only recreate one of these riders at a single time! Sucks I know, but you’ll need to track down more of these (or other entry rider sets) to get the full team!
Disclaimer: I will because I’m a sucker for entry forms!
And of course, a look at the sticker sheet included with the Entry form! Multiple eye options in case you want to attach their head to any previous buckle forms. This also gives more reason to pick up multiple entry rider packs, which will in turn give you duplicate heads, ergo more customisation options. It’s all coming together!
One last look at the set all together and it’s a packed one! Plenty to love in this set. SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #5 releases this month!!! Remember to get your special orders in to avoid missing out! More information on that below…
SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #6
We’re not done with Gotchard yet as we’re also getting a look at the upcoming SODO Gotchard #6 set and what’s to come with that….
Coming in strong with our first figure: Star Gotchard, as seen in the winter movie “Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy ★ Gotcha Great Operation”. The details are really well produced and he’ll definitely be a standout among your collection.
Next up is Fire Gotchard Steamhopper; a lot like the standard form, now with extra spice! The flame designs are really cool. He’ll definitely be one of the ‘hottest’ additions among your collection!
The heat gets turned up a little more with the addition of Fire Gotchard Appare Skateboard! Another sizzling addition to your already ‘fire’ collection of Gotchard SODO’s.
It’s been a bit less than timely, but you’ll ‘dread’ not having this one in your collection! That’s right! Kamen Rider Dread (Type 0) joins the SODO line. As I always say, better late than never!
He’s had a few form reveals in the show currently, but the Bandai Candy Team apologise for not having him out sooner as well as aim to reproduce his other forms as well.
Here’s a faint tease of the other formation heads! Seemingly the changes will be reproduced in combination with the Type 0 figure, so if you’re gonna go all the way with Dread, you’ll really want to own the aforementioned SODO figure!
We’re also getting a double whammy of new forms for Kamen Rider Valvarad with the additions of Angecopter and Orochishovel!!!
Now, these aren’t separate figures, but rather attachments for Valvarad in SODO Gotchard #5, so getting that figure is important if you wish to recreate these forms. The pieces come bundled in with Fire Gotchard and Dread Type 0, respectively.
Kamen Rider Fire Gotchard Daybreak burns his way through your wallet and into your heart! These names are starting to become a mouthful…
Here he is in his beautiful orange glory! Almost a colour palette swap of Gotchard’s regular Steam Hopper form. While not pictured, he does come with a normal orange muffler and the driver without the igniter to recreate his standard Daybreak Steam Hopper form! I’m not currently watching Gotchard myself, but I do love a colour swap so I may need to get this one!
Alas, the ‘pièce de résistance’ arrives in the form of Kamen Rider Doom Geats!!! He made his appearance in the “Kamen Rider Geats: Jamato Awakening” film. A must have for Geats fans (and me) to join his already incredible range of forms represented in the SODO toyline. I only wish he got the premium treatment like some of his most recent powerful & final forms.
Although not pictured, he will come with his Golden Geats Buster QB9 weapon!
Doom Geats will also come bundled with the parts to recreate Kamen Rider Geats Boost Form Mark III! A tad bit long overdue, but at least we’re getting him despite the minimal appearances of the form in general.
Here’s one final look at everything included in SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #6! A lot of value for money here, to be sure.
For anyone holding their breath for a premium SODO release, the Bandai Candy Team have stated they have no plans to do any premium releases of this set. Perhaps premium SODO is no more? I have no idea if they have sold well. I personally loved what we got though…
