New trademarks for the next instalment in the Ultraman series, Ultraman Arc have been shared on social media. One of the sources was kind enough to not only add translations of each trademark but also group them together, based on what they are likely to be. Before we get into any speculation, let’s see what’s out there.

From what we can see, we appear to be in for a biblical themed season; from the Earth defence team being named ANGES, to Arc’s forms being named after biblical angels. Side note: what’s the betting Arc’s Lucifer is a berserker form? Like Orbs Thunder Breaster. Additionally, from these listings, it seems Ultraman Blazar’s push for new Aliens and Kaiju will be continuing into Arc, which is nice to see. Coming back to ANGES for a moment, if I had to guess, I would say “ANGES Dragoon” is probably our fighter plane and/or mecha this season and “ANGES Core” could easily be the name of the main base with “ANGES Core Shooter Gun” being a defensive attachment. “ANGES Dry Car” sounds like an all terrain vehicle or car they use to get to places, maybe with a weapon attachment, too. One thing we can probably say with some certainty is that, at least, we know Ultraman Arc is short for Ultraman Archangel.
