Go, Go, Loser Ranger! will debut this April as it premieres on Disney+ this Spring. The upcoming and highly anticipated toku based anime was announced by a trailer on social media.
Twisted Toku anime series, Go, Go, Loser Ranger!, was revealed by AnimeTV to be scheduled for an April release on the Disney+ streaming service, with the first preview of the upcoming series. Along with a teaser of the story, the opening song is also unleashed for fans to enjoy as part of the anticipated sneak peek. The release date is also joined by the debut of a new visual poster for the new dark toku series that places a focus on an infiltrating henchman.
Origins
Go, Go, Loser Ranger! is the English title for the anime adaptation of Sentai Daishikkaku, which was revealed to be an upcoming series in 2023. The anime adapts the Shonen Action Manga series, which currently consists of 13 tankōbon volumes as of February 2024. Written and illustrated by Negi Haruba, the series is a fresh take on the tokusatsu superhero genre as the Sentai, Ryūjin Sentai Dragon Keepers, defeats the evil army within a year. As part of the aftermath, the almost immortal soldiers are forced to become a Sunday spectacle until one foot soldier rebels and decides to infiltrate the organisation.
Coming to Disney+
The anime version of Go, Go, Loser Ranger! has been revealed to be coming to Disney+ on April 7th, 2024. The opening song for the series has been revealed to be performed by Tatsuya Kitani, which is entitled “Jikaiyokoku” (“Next Episode Preview”). The upcoming series trailer gives fans a sneak preview of the high Tokusatsu action and deep drama that is adapted from the Shonen Action Manga series. A new visual has also been revealed for the new anime series, which will exclusively release episodes weekly on Disney+.

This will be an exciting debut that combines anime with tokusatsu in a new way, with a thrilling new perspective. It’s incredible that this new series has been obtained by Disney+ as many fans were expecting the series to be coming to Crunchyroll. It appears that tokusatsu is growing in popularity via new formats, so seeing a brand new story told from a darker perspective is long overdue. As FUUTO PI was a fantastic anime continuation of Kamen Rider W, it will be awesome to see a new type of toku emerge in the anime genre. This will be a highly hyped release that many fans will be anxious to see premiere this Spring.
