With the first quarter of BoonBoomger toys barely confirmed themselves, information about the second quarter lineup, including a sixth hero, has already been revealed!
As the second quarter of the year kicks off, toy enthusiasts and toku fans are in for a treat with the release of the latest additions to the BoonBoomger toy collection. BoonBoomger, showcasing its innovative and captivating toy designs, has introduced an array of thrilling toys poised to capture the hearts of collectors and fans alike.
Creating a Monster
The BoonBoom Marine, a teal dump truck featured in the recent BoonBoomger BoonBoom Car Showcase, stands out with its vibrant colour and detailed design, making it an exceptional addition to any collection. Priced at 1400 yen, it’s scheduled for release on June 1st, 2024.
Also priced at 1400 yen and slated for release on June 1st, 2024, the BoonBoom Safari is a safari truck that pays homage to Nekomaru from Kakuranger. With Kakuranger celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the BoonBoom Safari serves as a nostalgic nod to the beloved series. Displayed during the BoonBoom Car Showcase, this toy promises both aesthetic appeal and sentimental value for fans.
For those looking for the ultimate experience, the BoonBoom Monster Set offers a combination of the BoonBoom Marine and BoonBoom Safari. Priced at 28,400 yen and set to release on June 1st 2024, we presume that this set will combine with the BoonBoom trailer to form the ‘BoonBoomger Robo Monster.’
Sixth Hero Teased
Introducing the first ever violet sixth Sentai hero, BoonViolet joins the Sentai Hero Series priced at 700 yen. Set for release alonside the others on June 1st, 2024, this vinyl figure adds a new dynamic to the lineup. The introduction of a Violet character opens up exciting possibilities for BoonBoomger, and fans are eager to see how does BoonViolet contributes to the show. We don’t yet know what BoonViolet will look like but speculation has already begun across the tokusatsu community.
Scheduled for release slightly later than everything else, on June 22nd, 2024, the DX BoonBoom Controller is the henshin device for the BoonViolet. Priced at 4800 yen, this device allows fans to replicate the transformation process of BoonViolet. With a presumed intricate design and interactive features, the DX BoonBoom Controller enhances the roleplaying experience. At this stage we do not know if the controller will involve the speedometer gimmick.
Priced at 5500 yen on the same release date as the DX BoonBoom Controller, the DX ByunByun Mach Robo draws inspiration from the onomatopoeia “byun byun,” implying a whizzing or whirring motion. This hints at the possibility of BoomViolet being either flight, train or motorbike based, adding an element of mystery and excitement to BoonBoomger. However, this motif could point towards anything.
For the ultimate BoonViolet experience, the DX BoonViolet Complete Set combines the henshin device and robo. Although leaks have not yet announced the price, it intends to release this set on June 22nd, 2024, offering fans the chance to own the complete set of the controller and mecha for BoonViolet.
