This past weekend, Toei also unveiled a poster for Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger which features BoonBlack and BoonOrange!
In a thrilling sneak peek, Sentai fans show excitement over the release of a new poster that teases the arrival of two new members: BoonBlack and BoonOrange. The revelation comes alongside the already known trio of Red, Blue and Pink, each boasting their unique characteristics and playstyles. As fans eagerly analyse the intriguing silhouettes showcased on the poster, the anticipation for the dynamic duo’s official debut continues to grow.
The poster, unveiled by the official BoonBoomger Twitter, showcases a lineup of the five members as silhouettes, each distinguished by their signature visor colour – Red, Blue, Pink, Black and Orange. The design of the poster is a nod to the well known video game franchise, Persona 5.
One of the most prominent features that immediately catches the eye is the distinction in the suits worn by Red, Blue, and Pink compared to the newly teased BoonBlack and BoonOrange. Unlike their predecessors, Black and Orange forego the use of wheels on their backs, opting instead for shoulder armour on their left shoulder. This departure from the core three’s design brings questions about the unique abilities and functions that Black and Orange might bring to the BoonBoomger team.
Furthermore, a closer examination of the visors on their helmets provides additional insights into the distinct nature of BoonBlack and BoonOrange. Unlike the smooth surface of Red, Blue, and Pink’s visors, the helmets of Black and Orange boast a serrated pattern, adding an edgy and unique flair to their overall appearance. This subtle but impactful design choice suggests that the new additions may possess special features or abilities that set them apart from their counterparts.
Fans are already speculating about the potential roles and abilities of BoonBlack and BoonOrange . The lack of wheels on their backs may imply a different mode of mobility or an emphasis on enhanced agility, while the serrated visors could hint at specialised offensive capabilities. The element of mystery surrounding these new characters only adds to the excitement, as players eagerly await further details from the creators. Most importantly, these two heroes have a tied occupation to them, with them being a Police Officer and a Construction worker, respectively.
As the we begin to find out more and more about BoonBoomger, the speculation and excitement within the fan base continue to escalate. Social media platforms are abuzz with theories and discussions, with fans dissecting every nuance of the silhouettes and design choices presented in the poster. The anticipation is not just limited to the social media as the two newly revealed members will have an exclusive changer (BoonBoom Change Axe)!
Toei have successfully crafted a marketing strategy that not only teases the new characters but also engages the community in a shared sense of curiosity and anticipation. Additionally, keen eyed fans have noticed subtle nods to other popular media, with references to the stylish aesthetics of Persona 5 and the fuelled energy reminiscent of the Fast and Furious franchise in the first poster, adding an extra layer of intrigue for enthusiasts of diverse entertainment genres. The pun “Coming Boon” is also another interesting feature of this poster which could point towards this being a comedic Sentai.

The scheduled press conference date for BoonBoomger’s grand unveiling remains undisclosed but it is confirmed that Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger is set to commence on the March 3rd, 2024.
