New information for the Geats and Gotchard crossover movie has been released, giving us an official release date for the film’s theatrical run and the full title. Let’s dive right in to all the new info!
Key information from the upcoming Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard and Geats – The Ultimate Chemies – Super Gotcha☆ Operation has been given a plot summary:
Ace, Hotaro, and their allies participate in a new Desire Grand Prix created by the rogue Chemy X-Wizard, who has involved the Jyamato in its plans.

A full trailer was also shared on the Toei hero movie X account and has since been fan translated for English speakers.
Some of the information that has been revealed between my last article on this film and now was that Hololive’s very own Shirakami Fubuki will be voicing the Geats Chemy. I know many fans of the Vtuber are excited to see her play have some involvement in the film.

The next big VA casting announcement has been for X-Wizard; none other than Rie Takahashi, a notable voice actress witch such roles as Mash Kyrielight from Fate/Grand Order and Megumin from KonoSuba.

In addition to this, we already know what the movie form will be but, since that’s a really big thing from the movie, I will show more courtesy than Toei’s social media people and warn you that that’s coming a little later in the article.
Speculating the Plot
With this new information and trailer, a pretty simple plot outline can be seen. Someone, the real movie villain, is working with X-Wizard to reinstate the game; probably someone from the future who wants to stop Ace now that he’s a god. X-Wizard turns civilians as well as Tycoon, Na-go and Buffa into Chemies and, this is just my guess, they also try to also do so to Ace but it instead makes him mortal again, with his god powers being nerfed to allow for to hang out with the Gotchard gang and get the cute Geats Chemy. To save everyone, Ace and the Gotchard gang must team up and complete X-Wizard’s game, catching five other Level X Chemies in the process. The real villain will likely betray X-Wizard, probably turning into an X-Wizard Malgam, and Gotchard will take them out with the movie form with Aces help. Hopefully, like in a lot of the winter movies, there will be a post credit tease for some new Kamen Rider showing up in the new year in Gotchard.
It will be very very interesting to see how accurate that last paragraph is to the final plot, either way I’m sure it will be a fun time.
We’ll now move to discussion of the Gotchard movie form. Consider this the spoiler wall.
Gotchard Movie Form
If I may indulge a brag for just a moment… I was completely correct in my speculation about the involvement of the Level X Chemies, based on the first poster.
[The Level X Chemies] placement on a poster with so little revealing information implies that they will be a large focus of the movie, perhaps being used by the villain, used to create six extremely powerful Malgams or even being used by Hotaro for his movie form.
Me, being right

This is Kamen Rider Star Gotchard, the movie form accessed by using the X-Assemble Chemy Card and combines the five Level X Chemies into one form, like a Super Sentai mecha. With its heavenly gold and light blue colour pallete, many online have compared it to the Digimon, Magnamon. We know from the trailer all six Chemies have a large focus, with one being the antagonist and the other five being the objectives in X-Wizard’s game. X-Wizard is likely being used by someone and will I think turn into a Malgam. I’m not very confident that all of them being turned into Malgam at this point, although it would make for some cool mini bosses for others to fight. All in all I was pretty spot on when I said what I said.
Alright, that’s enough of a victory lap; have to save something for if I really have predicted the plot of the movie with nothing but this one minute long trailer.
With all this information now available, what do you all think about the movie? Does it have Pokemon movie vibes to you? What do you think of the movie form? I look forward to seeing what you all think in the comments. As always, I’ve been Ethan: writer, reviewer and seer for The Toku Source and I’ll see you all next time!
