Hidden between the pages of this month’s TV-Kun we have our first look at a new Rider in Kamen Rider Gotchard. Join Ethan as they take a closer look and speculate about what this could mean.
Before we get to far into analysing this one picture, we first need to talk about some rumours and leaks that are very relevant in working out who this is. Posted in October, it was claimed that Rinne would get her own driver with the Alchemist symbol on and transform using LuckyClover and the nine tailed fox Chemy as her base form.

Looking at this, and looking really hard at the very blurry picture of the new Rider, you can very clearly see a triangle on the driver, very likely the alchemist’s symbols. By extension, therefore, it’s very likely our new rider is, in fact, Rinne.
“But Ethan, those leaks just said LuckyClover and the nine tailed fox Chemy
would be her base form, the new Rider looks nothing like that!”
That brings me to my next point. One of the key details that can be made out of this new Rider is its big horn. It’s currently speculated that this form is using the Unicorn and Sun Chemies, from the currently unreleased cosmic and fantasy Chemy classes. It is worth noting that since we only have a small blurry picture and some leaks and rumours, that there is always the possibility that this is Rinne’s main form and the Luckyclover/fox Chemy are the first form outside of her base she gets access to, or even vice versa. We do know, from another leaker’s post, that Rinne’s driver will be released with four cards so this is very likely.

All of this has led to further speculation about the upcoming Hyper Battle DVD for Kamen Rider Gotchard, namely that the form we know will be featured in it, MarsPhoenix, will actually be Rinne’s. This is mainly because we know that the plot of the DVD special will feature body swapping and it seems like Rinne has an affinity for cosmic and fantasy type Chemies. This might also mean GaiaDragon, a combo of the two Level Xs in the cosmic and fantasy categories, could end up as her final form as well.
But what do you think? Are you hyped about Gotchard getting another Rider? Are you already planning on preordering when the drivers become available for purchase here on The Toku Source? (Be sure to follow the site’s social media pages for any updates!) Are you looking forward to the Hyper Battle DVD? What of the new forms and Chemies I’ve mentioned are you most looking forward to? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below! As always, I’ve been Ethan: writer and reviewer for The Toku source and I’ll see you next time!
