KingOhger x Fortnite: Third Island, Gokkan, Revealed with Code

KingOhger adds a third Island to Fortnite as Gokkan is released for a zombie filled mission in the land of ice and snow.

A brand new, third location for the iconic battle royale game, Fortnite, from the makers of Ohsama Sentai Kingohger is now available to play. The island code for the latest map created by Toei Zuban Lab has been unleashed for players to enter Papillon Ohger’s country. Along with the code, the gameplay featured in this new location has been revealed as players must escort a delivery to the Zybarn Castle. 

Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is the 47^th Super Sentai series that features various locations on a planet called Chikyu. Translated as Terra, the latest episodes revealed that both this series and the 37^th Sentai, Kyoryuger, were connected. The planet features five different Kingdoms that are home to the five kings that form the Royal Sentai, with a sixth kingdom formed underground. Toei Zuban Lab brought the Castle of Shugoddam into Fortnite as the first featured location from the Sentai series, followed by the second island released for Tonbo Ohger’s home, N’Kosopa. 

Fight Zombies in Gokkan and Deliver a Package to Zybarn Castle 

The third island featured by Toei Zubun Lab was revealed to be Gokkan, as the land of Ice and Snow hosts the mission, “Delivery to Zybarn Castle!” Players and fans of the Sentai series will be escorting a hovering delivery that needs to be taken to the iconic location. While transporting it, players will also have to protect it against an onslaught of zombies which will try to attack anyone they see. The new multiplayer level will also feature new gameplay elements compared to the previous two islands, including an experience and coin system to obtain weapons and power-ups. 

The game will also include four major aspects to the mission to keep in mind as players try to survive and deliver the package. The first strategy of the game is that the high tech transport will only move while players are nearby, which is consistent no matter the number of players. The second strategy is the game mode allows up to four players to participate in the mission, so you can invite your most competent friends to complete the overwhelming mission.  

The third relates to the coins and experience point system that allows players to use a ‘weapon gacha’ point to obtain a randomly selected weapon. The fourth strategy allow allows coins to purchase an attack powerup from a statue. The final strategy relates to the experience points that you gain as they will increase a EX bar, which when levelled up, increases max health.  

The map for Gokkan also features many iconic landmarks from the land, with players able to see the Zybarn Castle during the mission. The location will also feature the small village at the foot of the castle, the long staircase bridge and the towering scale landmark, and will even have God Papillon resting in their usual spot. This is the best opportunity to explore the land belonging to the unshakeable Sovereign, Rita Kaniska, with a full area of the land brought to life. 

It’s absolutely outstanding how much work has gone into bringing Gokkan into Fortnite, with so many key landmarks added. This appears to be the first time one of the Shugods has actually appeared in the game, despite only being an object for fans to see. Every island added during this KingOhger crossover appears to increase in complexity, with the first island being a training game and the second as a climbing challenge. Although the castle did feature, the actual Kingdom of Shugoddam has yet to feature as an island, but this might be a grand finale in Toei Zubun Lab’s plan. It will be exciting to see what the fourth island will be as the Kingdoms of Ishabana, Tofu, and even the inbetween Land Bugnarak are still to come.  

The KingOhger third island, Gokkan, is now available to play on Fortnite. The code for the new location and mission is available for plans to use now, along with the codes already released for two previous islands.
