Power Rangers Cosmic Fury unleashes a huge feature filled trailer ahead of the upcoming 30th Season, revealing many new additions that had been previously rumoured.
This new trailer, available to view on the Netflix website, includes our first ever look at the Morph sequence, teasers of the story and even the first confirmation of a new Ranger from another Ranger series. Along with never before seen scenes from episodes, the trailer includes many surprises as the Rangers take on their new mission in a space adventure.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will only consist of ten episodes but promises to be a grand addition to the Power Rangers franchise. Along with the Dino Fury Rangers, the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger will return as part of the story with Power Rangers Ninja Steel’s Mick Kanic. This means both David Yost and Kelson Henderson will feature alongside the Dino Fury cast as the Dino themed Rangers become Cosmic Fury Rangers. Along with new powers and weapons, the Rangers will use the Zords that are adapted from the Sentai series, Kyuranger, but only the mecha will be used for imported footage.

Cosmic Fury Madness in 30th Power Rangers Season
The new trailer has been featured by Netflix as Power Rangers Cosmic Fury becomes listed on the streaming service for the first time. Fans can now add the upcoming 30th season to their watchlist and have been treated to an overwhelming preview of the latest instalment. This includes the highly anticipated morph sequence for the Cosmic Fury powers, previews of the story, incredible fight scenes, and a brand new reveal.
Cosmic Fury Morph – “Cosmic Orb! Link To Morphin Grid”
The trailer reveals that only Amelia, Javi, Izzy, and Aiyon are the first to morph into Cosmic Fury Rangers. Billy is seen with the team as they tap into their new Morphers, which also reveals the Orbs are inserted into the Dino based Cosmic Morpher. The morph sequence uses similar effects seen in Dino Fury and is also similar to the fan-morph sequence created by HurricaneGold. The basis includes the projected dinosaurs and more steps as each piece of the Ranger form is added.
This is one of the best original morphs ever created and truly fits with the upgrade of the Dino Fury powers. Since Billy is present, he has likely had a hand in the creation of the new Morpher. The flipping motion to the flow of the Ranger form parts being added was hypnotic and it will be exciting to see the other members get their version of the morph. It’s also curious as it appears that Ollie and Zayto may not get their Cosmic Fury Powers until later.
Dark Ranger Confirmed
The Dark Ranger has finally become a confirmed addition as the 30th Season sees the Spino Ranger debut. The Ranger was originally to be included in Power Rangers Dino Charge with Heckyl to join the team. Despite the plan, the license for the movie exclusive Ranger was obtained too late and Ryan Carter was unable to become a Ranger as the story set him to become. This is a huge moment for the live action series, especially since the Boom! Studio comics included the Ranger in the Beyond The Grid storyline.
As the comic story occurred after the 25th Anniversary event, Shattered Grid, fans expected Heckyl to only appear in the comics as the Dark Ranger. As he has finally made his debut in Cosmic Fury, the Ranger will likely keep his origins from the comics. It will be gratifying to see this 11th Ranger from Dino Charge finally debut and it appears fans will be treated to some epic action scenes too. It also appears that the Dark Ranger is after something behind one of the henchmen but what that could be has yet to be discovered.
Insane Fights and Weapon Use
A lot of original fight scenes are featured in the trailer as the Rangers fight alongside Mighty Morphin Blue and the Dark Ranger. The various new weapons are also featured including a morpher blast by Izzy, a double dagger slice attack, and Aiyon blasting foes with his dual use weapon. The Zenith Ranger is also seen wielding a Morphin Master staff and the Dino Fury Rangers are also seen fighting alongside the Morphin Masters, themselves. With so many amazing effects and teasers for the story, fans will be overly excited to watch the season when it finally drops.
Amelia Fights For Ollie
As Ollie has been rumoured to be fighting for Lord Zedd, a scene of Amelia fighting to free the Blue Ranger further confirms the expected storyline. As the Ranger is using a Chroma Fury Saber and wearing pink, this might be before the Rangers gain their Cosmic Fury powers. A lot of the scenes also suggest that Ollie might not be getting his new powers at the same time as the others. It will be exciting to see what route the story will take for Dino Fury’s Triceratops Ranger.
Billy is a Core Part of the Story
Billy has already been seen fighting alongside the main Rangers of the series but scenes suggest he will continue to do so as the series progresses. He is also seen with Mick and the team when lighting strikes a familiar area in previous previews. This may be the scene where the Rangers find the Cosmic Orbs used for their new Morphers, suggesting that the team need to seek the new powers. As Billy will fight alongside the team and the Dark Ranger, a lot of thrilling fight scenes are expected to feature in various episodes for the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger.
Zords and Two Megazords Confirmed
A lot of Zord scenes have been teased in the new Season as even the Jark Matter Ships have been adapted from Kyuranger. Scenes confirm a lot of different Zords, including the Lion Cosmic Zord and the Pink Eagle Cosmic Zord, however, one of the biggest reveals is the sneak preview of a second Megazord. The purple Dragon Zord, known as Ryu Voyager in Kyuranger, is present and confirms that more Zords will feature than originally expected. It will be exciting to find out how they will be assigned as there are many potential pilots, such as including non Cosmic Fury members for the job.
Zayto Gets Quick-Morph Debut as Zenith Ranger
Zayto gets his own Morph preview as the Ranger becomes the Zenith Ranger with his own Cosmic Fury Morpher. It is unclear when Russell Curry will receive his third Ranger form but the scene does suggest he gets his own time in the spotlight. Simon Bennett also previously teased that Zayto will get a unique story as his role has evolved after joining the Morphin Grid during his sacrifice. As the Ranger has been seen using the Morphin Master Staff, this could be linked to a new potential future as the Ranger was never revealed to include a weapon.
This trailer has included so many incredible previews and fans are likely going to constantly repeat it to find every easter egg. With so much teased, fans will be even more excited to see the 30th season finally drop near the end of September. More previews may come soon but seeing the morph sequence was certainly the biggest reveal, alongside the Dark Ranger confirmation. Despite this huge teaser, fans will have to wait for all confirmations as the full story has yet to be revealed.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will be released worldwide on September 29th, 2023, via Netflix. All ten episodes will be available and the 30th Anniversary Season is now available to set a reminder on the streaming platform.
