Ohsama Sentai KingOhger: Adventure Heaven is the summer movie releasing for the 47th Sentai series.
The first movie for the latest Sentai series will feature the Land of the Dead where Gira will meet the first King of Shugoddam before he can ascend the throne. A final trailer showcases the upcoming story for the release, including the new cast that are only found in Hākabāka. Witness the cinematic event as all six Kings start a new adventure when they meet Devonica.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is the 47th Sentai series that takes place in Chikyu, which is home to six different regions. This includes the five Kingdoms ruled by different monarchs and the home to the Bugnarak, with the five regions created by the first King with the Guardian Deity, KingOhger. Recent episodes have featured the fall of the evil king, King Racules, as he is confronted by the six Kings and forced off the throne by Gira. A duel between Kuwagata Ohger and OhKuwagata Ohger was witness as Gira defeated the ruler, with the help of his allies and the Ohger Crown Lance.
KingOhger Travels to Land Of Dead to Meet the First King
The summer movie, Ohsama Sentai KingOhger: Adventure Heaven, features Gira as he ascends the throne of Shuggodam. However, as the coronation ceremony takes place at Caucasus Kabuto Castle, it is interrupted by the arrival of Devonica. She reveals that when a new King is to ascend the throne, they must meet their ancestor in the Land of the Dead. Acting as a guide, the six Kings travel to Hākabāka where they encounter numerous trials and meet the first Kings of the countries they now govern.
The new release will feature Shido Nakamura (Men’s Yamato / YAMATO, Blood of the Wolf) as the first King Reinior, Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia, The Quintessential Quintuplets) as guide Devonica, and Akiko Hinagata as former Queen of Tofu, Iroki. King Reinior is also the reigning King of Hākabāka who will feature as the antagonist in the new movie. Witness all 5 Kings, along with Jerami, as they fight in a visually stunning new location as they confront the past and fight for their future.
During Gila’s inauguration ceremony and coronation ceremony, Devonica, a guide to the Land of the Dead – Hākabāka, appeared. According to her, when King Shugoddam ascends to the throne, they must go to see their ancestors. Thus, Gira’s Haruka Kabaka adventure suddenly begins! What awaits them is Rainiol, the first king of Shugoddam, who governs Hākabāka. The battle for the throne between the “first king” who once saved Chikyu and the “new king” begins now!
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger: Adventure Heaven Movie Synopsis
This movie will be an exciting addition to the story as it explores a new lore that adds to the overall series, which likely takes place after episode 21 of the TV series. The new cast look magnificent in their upcoming roles, especially Nakamura as King Reinior. He has a great menacing aesthetic which appears to mix a Kabuki essence with a Samurai Warriors vibe.
Although a guide, it does appear that Devonica will be a supporting ally during the adventure, but Queen Iroki is a perfect choice for the story since Tofu has not fully been explored. The most curious reveal is that King Reinior will be using the Ohger Calibur Zero, so it will be fascinating to find out if he already had it, or if taken from King Racules.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger: Adventure Heaven will be released in Japan on Friday July 28th, 2023, and will include both the summer movie for the 47th Sentai series and Kamen Rider Geats. The release of the DVD and Bluray has yet to be announced for both releases.
