Power Rangers Unlimited Hyperforce #1 Comic Exclusive Cover and Official Page Previews

Power Rangers Hyperforce

Page previews of the upcoming graphic novel, Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1, have been revealed by Boom! Studios.

A Boom! Direct Reserve foil exclusive variant has also been showcased for the release including a variant for Power Rangers Unlimited: The Coinless #1. The page previews tease the story envisioned by Meghan Camarena for the 2nd season of Power Rangers Hyperforce and debut the first visuals for the Pink Ranger’s Battlizer mode. The story reveals the divide between the Rangers that follows on from the TTRPG series finale that aired via HyperRPG.

Power Rangers Hyperforce was originally planned to include a second season during its run but was never greenlit due to Hasbro obtaining the license from Saban Entertainment after the first season concluded. Melissa Flores and Hyperforce Pink Ranger, Meghan Camarena, brought back the 25th Anniversary original through the upcoming Boom! Studios comic and will also take part in the 30th Anniversary event, Darkest Hour.

During the run of the live streamed series, many features of the Ranger team were never given official art due to limitations of the production but, fortunately, their arsenal was slowly brought to life in other formats.

Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 Exclusive cover, revealing previews, and first look at Pink Battle Warrior

Boom! Studios revealed the first four pages of the upcoming visual novel, which reveals the continuing story for the team after the finale episode of the first season. The first set of pages reveals the realised vision that Meghan Camarena had for her character, Chloe Ashford, as the Pink Ranger turns to the dark side for her father. The preview also features the first time that fans see the Pink Battle Warrior, which was originally featured in episode 12 of Power Rangers Hyperforce. Time Force officers, an alternate Timeline version of Jen Scotts, and an intense battle against Hyperforce Yellow (played by Paul Schrier) also feature in the previews.

An exclusive foil variant has also been listed for the upcoming release of Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1, with art by Steve Morris. This will be a Boom! Direct Reserve exclusive release with limited stock. Power Rangers Unlimited: The Coinless #1 will receive an exclusive variant via Boom! Direct Reserve with a cover created by Jenny Frison. The graphic novels released during summer will also tie into the upcoming Darkest Hour event for the 30th Anniversary celebration, as the featured Ranger teams join the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team to fight against a range of foes.

Seeing the Pink Battle Warrior for the first time is one of the biggest comic book debuts to date, as many series features were never revealed. The other formations of the Chronos Hyperforce Megazord were also missing art due to costs, meaning that different configurations were described but never seen. It’s fantastic for fans of Hyperforce that Meghan Camarena and Melissa Flores could continue this unique story for the original Ranger team, especially as it continues Camarena’s vision of the character (as discussed in an interview with Den of Geek). It will be exciting to see the other Rangers in the story and find out what else may debut for the first time.
