Power Rangers Cosmic Fury: Arsenal Revealed Details & Rumoured Features

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is the highly anticipated new series coming to Netflix this Autumn with many details being slowly revealed regarding the team’s arsenal. Images of the Rangers and their new weapons and Morpher have slowly been revealed but Simon Bennett has taken it a step further by providing fans significant details and previews. This includes information regarding the functions of the Morpher and the designs created for the new series.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will be the third instalment of the adventures featuring Power Rangers Dino Fury. The two season Power Rangers series was revealed to become a third series during the 30th Anniversary celebrations of the Power Rangers franchise with many surprises already delivered by the cast and crew of the upcoming live action series. The main features of Cosmic Fury were previously unveiled during Hasbro Pulse events including brand new Ranger forms, Amelia’s transition from Pink to first full time female Red Ranger, Zayto becoming the Zenith Ranger, and Uchu Sentai Kyuranger’s Voyagers adapted into Zords for the new adventure in space.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury: All Details we Know to Date

Details regarding the new team of Rangers for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury currently consists of the Morpher, individual weapons, and rumoured new additions coming to this series. Tracy Trix Collins created all the new additions to the upcoming series and previously worked on various Ranger series including Power Rangers Beast Morphers and Power Rangers Dino Charge. Simon Bennett, Executive Producer, shared various details regarding the team and their arsenal by gifting fans with closeup images and providing snippets of details. This includes recent photos of the new Cosmic Fury Morpher that each Ranger will use in the series.

The Cosmic Fury Morpher has already been revealed to be a dino themed wrist Morpher that has design influences Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. Bennett previously revealed that the Morpher can be shot like a blaster but, with recent images, he shared what the buttons on top of the Morpher do. These three functions were revealed to be teleport, comms, and ‘power down’, which suggests the Morphers may replace the communicator seen in Power Rangers Dino Fury. Images of designer, Tracy T. Collins, and her weapons were also shared by Simon Bennett but seem to exclude the Blue Ranger’s personal armament.

The Morpher is a great design and it’s wonderful that Simon Bennett has gifted fans with pieces of information regarding the new original transformation device exclusive to Power Rangers. Bennett is intentionally hiding huge details such as how the Morpher is used to Morph and if the Kyutama gimmick will be retained from Super Sentai for the upcoming Ranger series. This is so fans can be surprised by the final reveal when Power Rangers Cosmic Fury releases during Autumn this year, which may even remain secret during the Power Month held in August by Hasbro Pulse.

The fact that the Blue Ranger’s weapon isn’t part of the display further feeds into the rumour that the Blue Ranger may be aligned with villains at some point during the series. This hasn’t been confirmed; the whole plot and story for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is staying behind closed doors for now. The printed props seen held by Collins are only for creating durable props but it’s amazing to see the scale of the weapons in the creator’s hands. Only images of the weapons have been shared so far but it will be incredible to see them in action soon. There are still some surprises awaiting fans as rumours of an Orange Ranger have also surfaced with a claw-like weapon being used by the Ranger. There is a lot still to be revealed and it will be exciting to find out exactly what the cast and crew have planned for fans this year.
