With the debut of Jeremy Brasieri/Spider Kumonos, the sixth KingOhger, let’s a walk down memory lane, with the Top 5 sixth debuts, according to Sean. Caution: Spoilers Ahead!
Number 5: Jiro Momotani / DonDragoku (DonBrothers)

Jeremy’s direct predecessor from the prior season, Avataro Sentai DonBrothers, and my favourite character from said show. Jirou made his debut in Episode 14, Substitute Jiro, following the first death of Taro Momoi/DonMomotaro. His first transformation into DonDragoku, occurred the following episode, Welcome Back Taro. Jiro was raised in a quiet village by a local police officer named Terasaki, and he always had a voice telling him to be a hero, so he would train day and night. This voice was later revealed to be his original personality, Feral Jiro, but all of that is a story for another day.
Number 4: Genta Umemori / ShinkenGold (Shinkenger)

Ah, Genta. The Sushi chef who became a Samurai. Making his debut in Shinkenger episode 17, The Sushi Samurai, he first appeared as a comical yet enigmatic character. When the Shinkengers were in a pinch, though, the mysterious sushi chef came to their rescue! Revealing the Sushi Changer, he transformed into ShinkenGold and fileted the monster. At the end of the episode, Takeru/ShinkenRed revealed the chef’s identity, his old childhood friend.
Number 3: Tekkan “Tetsu” Aira / DekaBreak (Dekaranger)

Moving on to one of my favourites, the debut of the detective of the daybreak, DekaBreak! Making his debut in Dekaranger episode 22,Full Throttle Elite, he was a member of SPD’s elite Tokyyou division, pursuing the Alienizer trio, The Hell Siblings, to Earth, defeating one of them – Bon-Goblin Hells- with DekaBikeRobo.
He also roasted the Dekarangers upon his arrival.
“If you’re going to keep spouting nonsense, just get out my way!”
After that, I knew he was going to be awesome.
Number 2: Burai / DragonRanger (Zyuranger)

DragonRanger, Burai takes the number 2 spot! First appearing in Zyuranger episode 17, The Sixth Hero, he first starts out as an enemy of Zyuranger. He despises Tyranno Ranger, Geki, in particular, who is later revealed to be Burai’s brother, taken by the king of the Yamato tribe from his family, the king later killing Geki and Burai’s real father. By the end of the arc, the brother’s reconcile and Burai joins Zyuranger, however, he doesn’t have long to live and soon dies.
Finally, the top sixth debut in Super Sentai is…
Number 1: Gai Ikari / GokaiSilver (Gokaiger)

Who else but the man himself? Gai Ikari aka Gokai … SILVER! Making his debut in Gokaiger episode 17, The Amazing Silver-Coloured Man, (or, technically, Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle) he at first was just a Super Sentai fanboy who wanted to join Gokaiger, but they initially brushed him off. When Gokaiger needed backup, he arrived with his own Ranger Key and GokaiCellular, which three dead sixths (DragonRanger, TimeFire and AbareKiller) gave to him after saving a kid from being run over. The Gokaiger team would eventually let Gai join them, finding his knowledge of the various Sentai teams useful.
So there you have it, my Top 5 sixth debuts in the history of Super Sentai. Gai, as well as George Karizaki from Kamen Rider Revice and GUYS member Teppei Kuze from Ultraman Mebius all prove one thing to me… tokusatsu heroes are your best bet when fighting evil. This is Sean, signing off!
