KingOhger’s God Tarantula, the partner to Spider Kumonos, has been revealed as a toy and will debut in an upcoming episode.
The DX line that has previously included King-Ohger, the Three Great Shugods, and two weapon class Shugods will be joined by the new White Tarantula Shugod and two weapon class Shugods, revealed to be a Centipede and Cicada. God Tarantula will also be able to change into a robo form, TarantulaKnight, with the new debut able to form a larger formation with the Legend King-Ohger.
Spider Kumonos has revealed to be the sixth King during episode 13 of the 47th Super Sentai series. Jeramie Brasileri (Masashi Ikeda) originally debuted in episode 12 but his powers were locked away as a mask on his face. With his powers now unlocked using the gems of the Three Great Shugods, he can transform into the white warrior known as Spider Kumonos using his Kumonos Slayer and keys. The form was revealed to be the sixth King, who had been erased from history as revealed by the storyteller, who explained his past, the secret of the sixth King, and why he has lived beyond a human’s normal lifespan.

God Tarantula
DX God Tarantula is the upcoming toy released as part of the DX line, which will also be followed by two weapon class Shugods. The God Tarantula will be the partner of Spider Kumonos and will be able to form the robo, TarantulaKnight, which will feature a goggle-on action function and the Tarantula Buster, formed by the Spider’s Abdomen.
Guardian Pede & Guardian Cicada
DX Guardian Pede & DX Guardian Cicada will also be released and will be chainsaw and twin blade weapons that can combine with TarantulaKnight, or even King-Ohger.
A 14-Shugod Formation
God Tarantula will also be able to combine with Legend King-Ohger to create a 14-Shugod formation, which will likely include the crown embedded in Tarantula Buster. The formation has yet to be revealed but details on the new Shugod give hints to the combination, including the cyan and pink details on two legs, which match the minor unique decorations for God Scorpion and God Batta. The remaining weapon-class Shugods are the last to be released before the ‘Super Mode’ related releases come in the third quarter releases.
TarantulaKnight is one of the most balanced mecha in the Super Sentai franchise as the Spider has the perfect structure and details. The head of the robo is also one of the best designs, which would perfectly match the mecha seen in various anime series. It will be incredible to see the debut of God Tarantula, who has an incredible white with black colour scheme, with a great use of gold details. The centipede Shugod is one of the best weapon forms out of all weapon-class Shugods, but both Guardian Pede and Guardian Cicada enhance the design of TarantulaKnight. This makes the Robo of the best designs in Sentai history.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger God Tarantula will debut in episode 14 of the 47th Sentai series. DX God Tarantula will be released on June 17th in Japan, along with single releases for DX Guardian Cicada and DX Guardian Pede. A set will also be released containing all three of the new upcoming Shugods.
The Show Debut of God Tarantula
The live action debut of God Tarantula has been revealed in the upcoming episode of Ohsama Sentai KingOhger. The teaser from this weekend’s episode reveals that the partner of Spider Kumonos will be given his debut, as they make their grand entrance swinging from the sky. It hasn’t been confirmed whether the robo form, TarantulaKnight, will also be featured in the upcoming episode, as the Shugod doesn’t require others for the formation mode. Images for the DX VenoMix Shooter have revealed that the Shugod is summoned using the weapon with the Kumonos Key, with the Centipede and Cicada summoned by using the Shugod Key.
It will be amazing to see how much like a Tarantula the new Shugod will act, as the spider is a powerful hunter. The shadow cast during its descent adds a menacing tone to his arrival so it will be a thrilling entrance that could suggest it to be a foe and ally to anyone. It will be an incredible debut and will include Spider Kumonos in an exoskeleton type cockpit like the other Kingohgers. The method they may use to introduce the robo mode and new Shugods may offer an idea of how early the Super Mode will be introduced as it will be released as part of the third quarter releases.
