DX Ohger Calibur Zero will be released from Ohsama Sentai KingOhger as a Premium Bandai toy. The 47th Sentai series revealed the latest weapon belonging to King Racules Hastie, which he uses to transform into OhKuwagata Ohger.
The dazzling release will be exclusive to the Premium Bandai line-up for KingOhger and will feature lights and effects as seen in recent episodes of the series and the recent spinoff, Secrets of King Racules. The Ohger Calibur Zero is the henshin weapon belonging to King Racules Hastie, the true king of Shugoddam. The corrupt leader believes that the people should give their lives for him and aims to become the supreme king of every country. The Ohger Calibur Zero is a gold variant of the Ohger Calibur owned by the other 5 warriors, which only has one trigger. OhKuwagata Ohger recently debuted in episode 8 of Ohsama Sentai KingOhger and stars in his own spinoff released on YouTube.
The silver version of Kuwagata Ohger is the rival to Gira, who became Kuwagata Ohger when he took the Ohger Calibur originally owned by the King. As OhKuwagata Ohger, the King has power and strength like Kuwagata Ohger and is partnered with God Kuwagata Zero, a silver and black version of Gira’s partner. Much has yet to be revealed regarding Gira and Racules’ past, as the leader of Shugoddam keeps the truth about himself hidden to appear benevolent to his people.
A Premium Bandai Release
The DX Ohger Calibur Zero from KingOhger will be released as part of the deluxe roleplay line as a Premium Bandai release. The total length will measure around 21 inches and will be similar to the DX Ohger Calibur model. The colour scheme will include the magnificent gold with red detailing and will only have a golden stag horn trigger. First pull of the trigger will cause the blade to emit a rainbow light and activate the transformation standby sound. Pulling again will change the light to red and play the transformation sounds to OhKuwagata Ohger.
The DX toy will also include the Ohger Finish special move sounds and effects, will be able to summon various ShuGods and will feature the combination sequence sounds for King-Ohger Zero. King-Ohger Zero recently debuted in the ‘Secrets of King Racules’ spinoff, which includes God Kuwagata Zero and black with gold variants of the other nine ShuGods that create the formation. The images for the DX Ohger Calibur Zero also tease the upcoming release of the King-Ohger Zero Robo as a toy.
It will be amazing to compare both the Ohger Calibur and Ohger Calibur Zero when the latest Premium Bandai toy is released. The colour scheme is strikingly beautiful, and the rainbow emitted light magnifies the royal aesthetic of the sword. Collectors will want to add this unique sword to their Sentai collection, especially if they are a fan of the extra warrior in the series. It is likely that a Memorial Edition release will follow in the future, but fans may have to wait until the series has concluded in 2024.
