Power Rangers: Once & Always’ official release time has been revealed for its premiere next week. The 30th Anniversary special will be released on Netflix around the world but will distribute the upcoming feature simultaneously for fans everywhere.
Power Rangers: Once & Always was announced during Hasbro Pulse’s fanstream, which surprised fans with the appearance of David Yost and Walter Jones. The iconic actors announced their return to the Power Rangers franchise after decades have passed since they played the characters known around the world. Joining them to reprise their roles are Steve Cardenas, Catherine Sutherland, Karen Ashley, Johnny Yong Bosch, and even Barbara Goodson and Richard Steven Horvitz.
The 30th Anniversary special will also commemorate the memory of Thuy Trang, who tragically lost her life in 2001. The first Yellow Ranger will be honoured by introducing a new character, Trini’s Daughter, Minh. Charlie Kersh is the emerging talent who will star alongside the legendary Rangers as they face the revived Rita Repulsa, Robo Rita, and the new threat she brings to the world and the Morphin Grid.
Power Rangers: Once & Always Airdate and Premiere Time
Power Rangers Once & Always will be available in multiple time zones and has officially been declared on social media to start at 8am in the UK. The simultaneous release will also be given to fans in the US and other regions. The intention is to reduce the risk of spoilers that often occurred in countries that aired episodes of the latest series earlier than others. Simon Bennett recognised this reoccurring issue and has now gifted fans with fair, shared access to fans globally.
This is a huge step forward as many countries were able to enjoy the latest episodes of new seasons earlier than others due to distribution differences. This occurred for fans in various countries such as France, the US, and the UK, which each had instances of access before others. This led to many spoilers being released on social media before some fans could enjoy the fantastic content themselves. Amazingly, fans will all be able to watch this huge event at the same time, which promises to be one of the greatest moments in the history of the Power Rangers.
Power Rangers: Once & Always will be available via Netflix on Wednesday April 19th. Fans in the UK will be able to watch the special at 8am BST, following the global release schedule.
