A recent debut in Ohsama Sentai KingOhger may explain how OhKuwagataOhger is possible. The upcoming silver Ohger will feature in his own special but the latest episode of the 47th Sentai Series may have revealed significant lore for the team. Episode 6 featured a return to Shugoddam as King Racules Hastie acts as an antagonist against Gira and the sovereigns of the four other nations.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger currently consists of the five KingOhger members and their Shugod partners, which are used in the 10-Gattai formation, King-Ohja. It was recently revealed that the three greater Shugods are used to form the 13-Gattai combination and are known as the treasures of Chikyu. Both God Kabuto and God Scorpion have debuted in recent episodes, leaving only God Hopper as an outstanding addition to be added.

OhKuwagataOhger explained by recent debut
The spinoff recently revealed OhKuwagataOhger to be King Racules Hastie, the true King Of Shugoddam, and owns a unique Gold Ohger Calibur. Episode 6 of the 47th Series revealed another Stag Beetle Shugod named God Kuwagata Zero, which will be partnered with OhKuwagataOhger. His Sword has also been revealed to be called the Ohger Calibur Zero.
The new variant of the Stag Beetle Shugod suggests that a Shugod is needed to create the kings armour used by KingOhger. Therefore, OhKuwagataOhger exists thanks to God Kuwagata Zero, which can also form the King-Ohja Robo in place of Gira’s God Kabuto. God Scorpion attacking this alternate combination could suggest a deeper origin for the new Shugod as the three greater Shugod have been established to hate humans, with more to be revealed soon.
This piece of lore is significant for the series as it could suggest that a Shugod needs to exist for a KingOhger to be possible. It makes sense that there is a direct link to the Shugods as the transformation sequence does include them to activate their armoured form. The additional warrior for the series will likely fit with this revealed lore but there are still many unanswered questions.
Whether the God Kabuto Zero is an artificial creation or not has yet to be confirmed but, interestingly, King Racules Hastie has hidden the Shugod until now. As OhKuwagataOhger is classified as an extra warrior, rather than the sixth hero, God Kuwagata Zero may not be part of any future combinations included for the future addition of the additional white warrior currently rumoured. It will be awesome to find out what is revealed next for the latest addition and if they will feature in the upcoming spinoff, Secret of King Racules.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will air Episode 7 of the 47th Sentai series on Sunday April 16th. The series is exclusive to viewers in Japan and will premiere on TV-Asahi, followed by being added and region locked for YouTube and Amazon Japan.
