Ohsama Sentai KingOhger has revealed two more Shugods as part of the toy line for the King-Ohja Robo. These two Shugods will feature as new weapons for the main robo of the 47th Super Sentai series and include unique features. These latest additions have given previews of upcoming Shugods to the live action Sentai before the premiere has aired. Here are the latest releases for the King-Ohja Robo line and their features.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is a royal/insect themed Super Sentai series for the 47th installment of the franchise. The mecha and Robo of the series is formed by the Shugods, which are the mechanical lifeform insects that act as guardian deities for the world. As guardians of each country, they work with the Kings to fight against threats to their homes. The main Robo, King-Ohja, is formed of 10 Shugods to create the formation, with more Shugods coming soon that can form weapons and more.
KingOhger Snail and Woodlice Shugods Revealed!
The latest KingOhger Shugods revealed for the deluxe toy line include the DX Snail Gatling and DX Rolling Hammer. The Snail and Pillbug Shugods form new weapons for the King-Ohja when combined, including a Gatling gun and a wrecking ball, respectively. These will be the next releases to follow the DX God Kabuto, which can form a cannon for the main Robo of the 47th series. Here are the images of the God ‘Katatsumuri’ and God ‘Dangomushi’ for the latest KingOhger Shugods.
It was surprising to discover that these two Shugods will debut before the Scorpion and Grasshopper, which were previously leaked on social media. These Shugods might have been saved for later releases, which may be due to their ability to form the 13-Shugod formation for the series. The Gatling and wreaking ball weapons are fantastic addition to the series, which are weapon class Shugods like the upcoming Centipede and Cicada coming soon. It’s interesting that the Twin God Tentou on the arms don’t combine with them, but this suggests they will be reusable weapons for other formations.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger DX Snail Gatling and DX Rolling Hammer sets will be released soon, with more announcements to follow. The premiere of KingOhger is nearly here, with the series starting Sunday, March 5, in Japan via TV-Asahi.
