The complete Power Rangers Cosmic Fury Ranger team has been revealed including a shocking female Red Ranger reveal and unexpected new Ranger. This was all divulged during the Hasbro Pulse Power Rangers 30th Anniversary livestream, which revealed the Black Cosmic Fury Ranger and the remaining two team members. Each Ranger has been drastically redesigned to create a new original story in space, with brand inspired originals.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will feature the cast of Dino Fury returning for a space themed adventure, which includes a fresh new designs of their dino ranger powers. Each Ranger will get a full redesign but will retain their respective motifs as they start their new adventure set for release this year. The Rangers have been revealed to get a new suit, new helmet decorations, motif-inspired weapons, and an exclusive Cosmic Dino Morpher. The only adaptation use from the Super Sentai franchise will be the Zords seen in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.
Cosmic Fury’s New Team, New Suits and New Rangers
The Rangers of the new series were previously revealed but only the art for the Green, Gold and Blue Rangers were teased before the end of 2022. The livestream with Simon Bennett finally revealed the remaining three Rangers, which includes a uniquely armoured Black Cosmic Fury Ranger, Amelia as the first full-time female Red Ranger, and Zayto as a champagne coloured Zenith Ranger. The remaining weapons were revealed to be a black Stego themed Axe and a Red Ankylo Hammer, leaving the Zenith Ranger without a weapon. The suits of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury were created by Sarah Booth, with the new Morpher, weapons and props created by Tracy Collins.

The suits have surpassed expectations as Hunter Deno’s Amelia awakened intense excitement for being a female Red Ranger for a whole series. She will be the new leader of the team and the first Red Dino Ranger to have a non Tyrannosaurus motif, as she will be keeping her Pink Ranger’s Ankylosaurus motif. The Zenith Ranger is complete change from the white coloured Ranger seen at the Season 2 finale of Dino Fury. The Zenith Ranger will also have a white cape and the T-Rex motif will also be inherited from Dino Fury but, other than this, no further information has been revealed yet.
These will be a completely original selection of toys for the series, with Lightning Collection figures demanded by fans. Figures for the Rangers will be the first expected announcement, which will likely include their unique weapons exclusive to Power Rangers. Each Ranger weapon perfectly balances the dinosaur theme with the high tech, space theme expected in the new season. The Axe and Hammer are much bigger than the other weapons, allowing wonderous details to be used. The only question remaining is whether they will be able to combine like the Ranger lines of the past.

Live Action Preview from Cast
The cast of Cosmic Fury blessed viewers of the livestream with the first live action preview of the new Ranger forms, including the new Morpher fans have been dying to see. This gave fans the opportunity to see the suits which had only previously been seen in art form. Fans also got to see Hunter Deno as the Red Ranger for the first time, along with Russell Curry as the new Zenith Ranger. A brief glimpse of the helmets is also given during the livestream but only in the background. Here are the images of the excited cast in their new Ranger forms for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.
The details on the armour of the Rangers are beyond what can be seen in the art format. The Black Ranger’s exclusive armour on his right arm has a lot of fantastic decoration, suggesting he may have a unique ability or role in the team. The only downside to the design is the body area, which could have used a form of pattern or design to enhance the look. Hunter looks incredible as the new Red Ranger and the whole team are excited for their latest look and future roles.
The Power Ranger brand elements, details and weapons create a complete look that will look fantastic for the series and for the expect line-up of toys coming soon. The Morpher is a huge addition to the series and was revealed by Simon Bennett to be able to act as a Blaster, complementing the melee weapons of the team. Originally, the Morpher was expected to house the adapted Kyutama from Kyuranger but it is still possible for the gimmick to be used by inserting in the mouth of the Dino. This has yet to be confirmed but this feature would be much like the Chroma Fury Saber and Dino Key gimmick.

Social Media Posts Reveals Insights and Live Action Weapons
We have also been blessed with previews by actors of the series which includes the actors wearing their new suits for photo shoots. The images also give an insight into the possible aspects that went into designing the Rangers. Social media posts from these Ranger have allowed fans to see a fresh new perspective and the first live action preview of the weapons from the new series. This includes the Tiger Claw Daggers, Tricera Blaster and the Stego Axe being revealed as physical props. Here are the cluster of images revealed by the cast of the series.

It is fantastic to see the first live action previews of the weapons and lighting for the suits shows that the Ranger suits were designed with this in mind. The lighting used for space scenes may be much like the lighting seen in the photoshoot images. All the suits look fantastic in this lighting so this could have been a linked inspiration for the design. The Stego Axe for Javi’s Cosmic Fury Black sees Chance using the weapon as a guitar, suggesting the character may have influenced the design.
Overall, these designs will bring a unique wave of toys that are exclusive to the Power Rangers toy line. The Morpher and Ranger figures will be the most anticipated releases and it will be exciting to see what Hasbro have planned for this original series. For now, the focus is on the 30th anniversary special releasing on Netflix in April but more announcements are expected after the premiere.
