Hasbro Pulse announce Power Rangers 30th Anniversary livestream

Hasbro Pulse have announced a Power Rangers 30th Anniversary livestream, which will feature the newest releases expected for 2023. These announcements have previously included Lightning Collection figures, Zord Ascension Project releases, various toys, and even news for the upcoming shows. The 30th Anniversary event is expected to include iconic Rangers and villains that have already leaked, along with news relating to the 30th Anniversary special and Power Rangers Cosmic Fury on Netflix.

The last update from Hasbro Pulse’s Premium event revealed various Lightning Collection figures, including The Blue Senturion from the Turbo Series and the Silver Space Ranger with Silver Cycle. Reveals for Cosmic Fury and 30th Anniversary were also revealed during the last 2022 event, which included the first look at the Blue Cosmic Ranger and actor Charlie Kersh’ playing’s reveal as Trini’s Daughter, Min. Iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actors were also revealed to be joining Walter Jones and David Yost for the anniversary special, excluding characters Tommy, Kimberly, and Jason from the original series.

30th Anniversary Livestream from Hasbro Pulse

The announcement was made by Hasbro regarding the upcoming livestream for the 30th Anniversary of the franchise. The event will reveal the latest releases coming from the Power Rangers franchise, including waves yet to be confirmed. The special event is also expected to feature news relating to the 30th Anniversary special that is set to release on Netflix during April this year. News for other releases and the upcoming Power Rangers Cosmic Fury series are also an anticipated addition to the livestream line-up.

Although there are no confirmations relating to the contents of the livestream, fans are expecting a lot of new releases for both the Lightning Collection and toys related to the new shows for Power Rangers in 2023. Fans are also curious to know if there will be new releases for the Zord Ascension Project revealed, since the White Tiger Zord was revealed during Brazil Comic Con before the end of 2022. Hasbro Pulse are yet to reveal previously teased figures from past events but fans have already been finding leaks and sneak previews for upcoming figures on social media.

Leaked Lightning Collection releases

Fans have already been sharing the leaked content on platforms such as Twitter, with official photos and figure confirmation images. The first of the remastered Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has been revealed to be Blue Ranger, Billy. Art for the remaster also teases the rest of the team coming soon, which includes Red, Yellow, Green, and Lord Zedd.

A large mix of toys have already been revealed for the 2023 lineup of figures releasing as part of the Lightning Collection. Hints and leaks were previously given for figures including Dino Thunder Black, SPD Yellow, and Lost Galaxy Pink. However, a mix of unexpected sneak previews have already begun circulating on social media from fans, which includes collectors from Singapore. These include invisible form Phantom Ranger, Tenga Warrior 2 pack, Lost Galaxy Yellow, Dino Thunder Villian, Mesogog, and remastered versions of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team.

The release of Lost Galaxy Yellow means that only one Ranger is left to complete the team for the series. The only issue fans have is that the Ranger comes with a Quazar Launcher and doesn’t come with a full Quazar sabre. This is similar to the single release of the Lost Galaxy Red Ranger figure released in Wave 8 during 2021. The invisible Phantom Ranger will also be a fantastic item for collectors and for those who display their figures in scenes. The Ranger was originally invisible when he made his debut in Power Ranger Turbo, making the figure a captured iconic moment in history.

Mesogog is one of the greatest Power Rangers exclusive villains and will be released at the perfect time since Dino Thunder Yellow is coming out soon. The figure is a perfect replication of the foe that remains to be one of the most frightening villains ever created. It is also fantastic that a remaster version of the original Rangers will be releasing as some of the Mighty Morphin team are rare and expensive to obtain. This will help fans that miss early waves to collect the Rangers just in time for the anniversary event.

The Hasbro Pulse 30th Anniversary Livestream will be held on Tuesday January 17th at 4pm GMT (UK Time). The livestream will be broadcast on the official Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel.
