SODO Sundays – March 21st, 2021

Hello, tokusatsu community! It’s Joshua Perry here to talk about SODO figures on my fortnightly series, SODO Sundays. Today Zero-One is back of course, but Saber gets his time to shine as well!

Kamen Rider Zero-One

Zero-One characters will be filling out the remaining slots in April’s Book 6 release. First up will be the villain from the third act of the REALxTIME movie, Kamen Rider Lucifer. This Rider is a bit of a remold/repaint of Kamen Rider Eden from the same movie.

Going along with him will be a new Zero-One accessories set which will give new pieces to a bunch of previous figures. This set will include new rock weapon display pieces to recreate the final battle between Horobi and Zero-One from the finale of the series. There will be a new Thousandjacker weapon that comes with swappable Progrise Key slots and the extended handle piece.

This set has plenty of extended wing pieces as they include a new wing piece for either Jin Flying Flacon or Burning Falcon, with sticker options for both. Rampage Vulcan will be getting two new wing pieces as well.

Zero-One Rising Hopper will be getting new feet pieces in order to recreate his Rising Impact finisher attack, complete with the text blocks that appear on the screen during this finisher.

Finally the set will include a closed version of the ForceRiser.

Kamen Rider Saber

Kicking off Saber Book 7 will be his newest forms from the show, Primitive Dragon and Elemental Primitive Dragon. Both of these forms are using a solid amount of paint and both are completely new molds despite the forms being similar in appearance. Primitive Dragon will come with optional sticker pieces to show him with Lion Senki powers as well.
